Job Description
We are seeking a vibrant and motivated individual to join our Youth Development Programme in partnership with Year Beyond from February to November 2026.
The individual will be responsible for the following:
• Coordinate all aspects of the YearBeyond programme implementation in the allocated region.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships, specifically with the school principals and teachers. Hold school feedback sessions termly with all stakeholders.
• Recruit target number of learners and ensure they sustain regular and consistent attendance.
• Recruit, manage, support, train and mentor youth volunteers (15-30 in the region), both with programme implementation and personal/professional development for duration of the programme.
• Includes but not limited to:
- Daily/weekly site visits throughout the workday to observe programme implementation and to mentor YeBoneers.
- Regular meetings with stakeholders.
- Coordination and facilitation of all youth curriculum sessions (Future Fit Fridays).
- Facilitate all YeBoneer training, approximately four weeks spread over the year.
- Responsible for the management of monthly allowances (stipends)
• Attend and participate in all mandatory YearBeyond Programme Mentor training held in January, February, July and September.
• Attend weekly Refresher trainings (Zoom).
• Participate in bi-monthly Programme Mentor meetings and quarterly management meetings.
• Reporting: Provide a monthly report to the YearBeyond management team and any specific reporting requirements for the programme stream.
• Ad hoc support, trouble shooting, guiding and supporting as required. This includes YearBeyond events such as Conferences, Opportunity Expos, practice interviews and graduation.

Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in the development sector, preferably within education and youth
- 25+ years old (older than the YeBoneers on the programme)
- Have some tertiary experience or are currently studying/have made plans to study.
- Ability to work independently and under time pressure
- Facilitation and training skills or relevant experience
